Animal of January 2020: Freshwater Pearl Mussel!
Hey everyone!! a very Happy New Year to all of you!!!!
We wish you much happiness, creativity and time for yourself!!
The Animal for January is a very intriguing one, the Freshwater Pearl Mussel! I didn't even know there were freshwater mussels, or pearl mussels, before the IUCN website opened randomly on this creature!!

The meerkat or suricate (Suricata suricatta) is a small carnivoran belonging to the mongoose family (Herpestidae). It is the only member of the genus Suricata. In captivity, meerkats have an average life span of 12–14 years, and about half this in the wild.
"Meerkat" is a loanword from Afrikaans (pronounced [ˈmɪərkat]). The

But due to some people with problems I'd rather not learn about it has gotten a bad name and reputation. So, this feature is for all the artists who show that nudity can be art if done tastefully. Thanks to all of you, your art is really a breath of fresh air!
